Joffre (J.D.) Meyer (@bohemiotx) says
I got #24 wrong (among a couple of others), and it’s all Judas Priest’s fault. “You’ve got another thing coming” is one of my favorite heavy metal songs. On a serious note, this is a great quiz, and I’ve written commonly confused word chapter sections. https://bohemiotx.wordpress.com/2020/03/05/big-4-clusters-of-commonly-confused-words-ccw/
Arlene Miller says
I always thought it was “you’ve got another thing coming”!
Robin Moore says
I also missed #24.
Arlene Miller says
I was surprised when I found out it was “think”
Avril Hilewicz says
Looks great – I have sent it to my granddaughter whose English is really good (we live in Israel) in the hope that she can do it. She is 15.
Arlene Miller says
That’s great! Let me know how she does! At 15, I don’t know how I would have done 🙂
Yateen says
Is not “toward” and “towards” a UK/US difference?
Arlene Miller says
🙂 Explanations next week…
Sandra Folk says
Great idea Arlene! Hope you are hanging in there. How are you doing? I only see on TV or read in the national newspapers about what is happening in the USA.
Take good care.
Arlene Miller says
Thanks, Sandra. I am hanging in here in my new home in Florida. Right now with my daughter and son-in-law, and now looks as if I will be here for a while. Yes, the US….well, we don’t really have any national leadership. Hope you are doing well.
James says
#2 should be principle.
Arlene Miller says
Nope. It is principal. Explanations next post.
