In the English language, words are generally understood to go with the words that are near them. Putting words in other places in a sentence often makes the sentence unclear — or even silly.

I assume that most of you are readers. How do you choose your books?

Adjectives are words that describe or modify nouns, pronouns, and sometimes other adjectives.

Every afternoon, you will find me out on my lanai (screened-in porch if you don’t live in Florida) for two or three hours…
